Dr Joanne Freeman

BDS Lond, MSc Lond

Specialist in Prosthodontics

Joanne qualified from King's College Dental School in 1983. After a number of surgical and children dentistry posts at the UK's only postgraduate teaching Institute, the Eastman Dental Hospital, she moved departments to restorative dentistry completing a Masters degree in Conservative dentistry in 1988. Joanne is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist and a founder member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentists.

After her hospital career, Joanne became an in-house dentist for Glaxo, moving sites and starting a new dental department for Glaxo Wellcome UK. She remained with the company for 13 years holding senior management positions and running both the Dental and Occupational Health Departments, as well as continuing to practice clinical dentistry throughout this time.

Joanne moved into private practice in 2002 to further develop her area of expertise - cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as really enjoying providing all round family dental care. Joanne's main area of interest is conservative smile makeovers using both modern conservative plastic bonding techniques like advanced level Bioclear as well as porcelain provided by Oral Design London.  She works very closely with our Specialist Orthodontist Dr Lindsay Winchester on these cases.  Joanne loves the fact she is in a multi-disciplinary and specialist team environment so she is able to provide the very best outcomes and care for her patients, whatever their needs.
